Chris McDonough, Ph.D., BCBA-D

A native of Long Island, Chris has over 30 years of deep and varied experience in the world of teaching and learning. Chris has expertise in teaching reading, writing, math, social skills, and focus, among other things. His professional interests include instructional design; fluency and rate-based instruction; stimulus discrimination technologies; stimulus overselectivity; language development and verbal behavior; eye-tracking technology for assessing and treating deficits in attention, focus and socialization; and assistive technology.
Chris received his BA in Philosophy and Religion from Boston University, his MA Special Education/Behavior Disorders from Teachers College, Columbia University, and his Ph.D. in Behavior Analysis from the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences at Columbia University. He is NYS Certified as a Special Education Teacher, School Administrator/Supervisor, and School District Administrator. He is a NYS Licensed Behavior Analyst and a Nationally Board Certified Behavior Analyst at the Doctoral Level.
